Holiday Workshop: Lines that Wander, 5 August 2026
In this workshop for 7-11 year olds with artist Anna Brownsted, participants will draw journeys without lifting their pencil, build sculptures that balance and bend, and create an installation of artworks in conversation with one another.
Inspired by Japanese artist Kenji Umeda, the session will move between drawing, making and looking. Using simple materials and a playful approach, participants will explore how a line can become a structure, a sculpture can become a drawing, and how small forms can hold surprising ideas.
